Father, it is my birthday / Padre, es mi cumpleaños.

 

Father, it is my birthday.

The thick pebbles on the old sand, gray ones at sunset near sea.

The silver sailboat is lost in the violet horizon of the day and the music flies over the full charm of the end of the day.

Silent foams in the distance, dim lights that confuse with fireflies of forest, in the background the siamese and colossus bridge hidden behind the mist as it may, that it is little.

And the image of the woman, cut in ethereal silhouette, imposed until it disappears quietly. However it remains immortal in the apple of my eye, as an indivisible part of the whole landscape.

It’s my birthday. And I’m alone. With you.

Padre, es mi cumpleaños.

Los guijarros espesos sobre la arena antigua, grises en el atardecer de un mar cercano.

El velero de plata se pierde en el horizonte violáceo del día y la música sobrevuela el encanto total del fin del día.

Espumas silentes en la lejanía, luces mortecinas que confunden con luciérnagas de bosque húmedo, al fondo el puente coloso y siamés se esconde tras la bruma cuanto puede, que es poco.

Y la imagen de la mujer que, recortada en silueta etérea, se impone hasta que desaparece, calladamente. Inmortal queda no obstante en la niña de mis ojos, como parte indivisible del todo paisaje.

Es mi cumpleaños. Y estoy sólo. Contigo.
