A tale of oranges / Un cuento de naranjas
Give me an orange.
Give me an orange, orange tree!
I can not, dear friend. I would like to!
Who forbids you? Isn’t it true that you born to bear fruit?
Yes, it’s really true. You do not know how my branches suffer.
Then, why don’t you let me to remove your weight?
-Time has embittered me. Now it is only expected from me that my fruits wither and fall.
-A fruit is a fruit. Many one would want to give fruits. Bitter or not.
-Do you really think so? Really is still my fruit good for you?
-Don’t hesitate. From this very moment I will pamper you and I will collect you. I will transform your burden in bitter sweets.
Thanks for give me back my dignity, my friend. How could I reward you?
-You give freshness, fragances and fruits for nothing in return. Your recovered dignity is my reward.
-See you soon, my friend.
-See you soon, Mr. Orange tree.
Dame una naranja
-¡Dame una naranja, naranjo!
-No puedo, querido amigo.
Amargo o no.
-¿Tú crees? ¿De verdad mi fruto aún os vale?
-No lo dudes. Desde hoy mismo te mimaré y recolectaré. Haré de tu carga dulces amargos.
-Gracias por dignificarme, amigo. ¿Cómo podría recompensarte?
-Das por nada frescor, aromas y frutos. Tu recuperada dignidad es mi recompensa.
-Hasta luego, amigo.
-Hasta luego, Don Naranjo.

Today / Hoy
Today I have sought the full sun of Córdoba Caliphate in your gray eyes, the classic and beautiful Athens Caryatids in your perfect nose, the high peaks of eternal snows of Kilimanjaro in your perky breasts, the fertile valley of golden flowers of the Himalayas in your smooth belly, the rich hills of the Cotswolds in the delicate curves of your hips, the continuous darkness of the dark side of the moon in your languid shade. Today…
Hoy…

Tempura of soul / Tempura del alma
Like a red tortoise’s carapace,
like a sheltered pearl’s shell,
like a nest of new chicks.
Like a wrapper of Chinese boxes.
This is how my body acts,
like tempura of my soul,
that dipping in your soy sauce.
Como caparazón de tortuga roja,
como concha de perla resguardada,
como nido de polluelos nuevos.
Como envoltorio de cajas chinas.
Así actúa mi cuerpo,
como tempura de mi alma,
que sumergir en tu salsa de soja.

I am looking hasty in your heart,
as in the dense forest
I seek a forest clearing where the sun shines,
an alive and new shelter of love.Busco presuroso en tu corazón,
como en la espesura del bosque
busco claro en que el sol asome,
refugio nuevo y vivo de amor..

In the garden / En el jardín
I have discovered a rose in the garden.
It is all white and beautiful,
soft petals, mimosa complexion,I have discovered a rose in the garden.
It is strong, without thorns that hurt you,
without expensive chalice of false promises.I have discovered a rose in the garden.
Essence of splendid woman,
Oh if you could smell its fragrance! It is graceful, slender, pretty, flirtatious,
it is simply exquisite beauty.
No doubt it reminds me of you..

Father, it is my birthday / Padre, es mi cumpleaños.
Father, it is my birthday.
The thick pebbles on the old sand, gray ones at sunset near sea.
The silver sailboat is lost in the violet horizon of the day and the music flies over the full charm of the end of the day.
Silent foams in the distance, dim lights that confuse with fireflies of forest, in the background the siamese and colossus bridge hidden behind the mist as it may, that it is little.
And the image of the woman, cut in ethereal silhouette, imposed until it disappears quietly. However it remains immortal in the apple of my eye, as an indivisible part of the whole landscape.
It’s my birthday. And I’m alone. With you.
Thirteen November 2015
Contigo.
